Hidup Ayem Tentrem (Living a Peaceful Life)

Last friday before the weekend started, i made a firm plan for my weekend. And that is to create web application to control workflow at my workplace. Last night (Sunday night) I regretted how the weekend went..it was far from the target. And when I think about it, it is because actually I needed a rest at the weekend but I targeted to work at the week end..

After what happened on the week end, I realized something important about life...Life is great when it is at the balanced. A peaceful life is a balanced life. And then the question is: In what do we have to be balanced at?? For me the best answer would be :
1. Faith
2. Family
3. Health
4. Wealth
5. Obsession/Goals
6. Hobby
7. Social Life

Now I understand why people in the surrounding Merapi is finding hard when they are told to move from their village. Cause I believe that they have found the 'Ayem Tentrem Life' in the slope of Merapi. Cause at the end the 'Ayem Tentrem Life' is what we look for....

The Frightened Feelings

Yup, that is what i did in the recent week.
I made a stupid action, those ridicolous action is all because I am frightened to loose something.
And the situation for somehow ended up to be something else...something that i didnt expect to be...
Yup...it is truly true...beleive that there will be a grat future...and you will get it..not frightened to what would bad happened in the future...IF YOU WANT A WHITE HORSE NEVER THINK OF THE BLACK HORSE....

On december 6th my college friend samuel is having his marriage ceremony and party. It was in cirebon, his hometown. Iam one of his college friend that were invited to the party. With other college friend we attended the party. It was a great party. As a chinese person samuel and eva (his wife) is having the party in chinese way, more likely in chinese modern way. It was great celebration. The party has more in the performance of Gaby idol. She realy rock the house.

And then in the morning we took becak to take us to Kasepuhan Palace. Inside the palace there was alot of historycal site that is interesting. One of them is the one in the picture. Iam standing in front of pilar which are decorated by ceramycs from netherland. The ceramycs is painted with a frase story of bible. It was interesting since Kasepuhan Palace is Muslim Kingdom. From there i could conclude that back in 1500 in indonesia has have a great tolerance to diversity that exist in indonesia. It was a great trip to Cirebon.

Aneh ya judulnya....hehehe
Judul ini terpikir waktu kami sedang kehabisan omongan saat sedang dalam perjalanan menuju stasiun Tugu jogja..Pertama aku bertanya mengenai singkatan SPBU. Meskipun agak susah nampaknya itu mudah ditebak, soalnya kalo kita coba dekatkan dengan fungsi spbu kita pasti langsung tahu...yup SPBU: Stasiun Pengisian Bahan bakar Umum..bukannya seharusnya SPBBU...nggak tahu ah indonesia, saking parahnya korupsi singkatan aja ditilep...kekeke....
Nah, kemudian terbesit dipikiranku, apa ya singkatan SAMSAT....
Semua diem.....
Kemudian Bapak menjawab:
SAMSAT: Satu Mobil dan Satu Tor (Maksudnyat Motor...agak maksa sih memang ini suatu waktu dimana pemaksaan dibenarkan..kekekek)
Lalu Manik jawab:
SAMSAT:Satu Mo dan Satu Tor (Jadi komplit tuh, kata motor diawal dan diakhir...kekeke...)
Semakin ngawur....kekekekke....
Lalu setelah beberapa hari dibahas lagi nih SAMSAT,
Manik jawab:
SAMSAT: Situ Akan Mbikin SIM, Ane Tolong
kkekekekek.....
dan akhirnya harus aku akhiri dengan bertanya kepada temanku mas Google yang paling pinter sedunia....dan ternyata ...
SAMSAT: Sistem Administrasi Manunggal di bawah Satu Atap
kekekekee ................
Akhirnya malam nanti aku akan tidur nyenyak....
Karena SAMSATku telah menguak jati diri sebenarnya.....kekekek

A friend of mine says that life is never ending process of shapping. Yup we were polished everyday, to achieve the best result. And the process is ended when we are not breathing anymore. Yup untill death, we were shapped by this life. So beleive that all our problem is the process of shapping us.
Be positive about problem that we had. BE POSSITIVE.

Life is a journey, yup hidup adalah petualangan. Kita semua tahu tentang itu. Akhir-akhir ini aku sering merenung tentang hidupku. Bagaimana aku melewati kegundahan dalam permasalahan hidup.
And then....pada suatu hari aku mendapatkan gambaran bahwa hidup adalah seperti membawa lilin di jalan yang gelap. Dengan lilin kita dibatasi penglihatan kita kedepan. Hanya sekitar 1 - 2 m. Kita dalam hidup ini hanya bisa merencanakan apa yang secara waktu dekat dengan kita. Selebihnya itu menjadi wewenang yang Kuasa.
Menjaga nyala lilin itu susah, lebih enak berhenti ke belokan jalan yang menawarkan terang yang semu. Belokan terang tersebut ada waktunya juga, karena mereka juga menggunakan nyala terang dari minyak tanah. Yang mana terangnya terang sekali tapi memiliki batas waktu terang.
Dalam perjalanan membawa lilin, pasti kita akan mendapati angin mengganggu nyala lilin kita. Ya pasti...Pasti kita akan menghadapi angin tersebut. Kadang datangnya lilin sangat kuat sehingga kita harus berhenti berjalan. Dan mencari teman untuk bersama-sama melindungi nyala terang lilin kita.
Dalam perjalanan hidup kita, kadang kita sudah kehabisan stock lilin kita. Lilin bisa kita dapatkan diwaktu Sang Penjual Lilin ini berada. Sang Penjual Lilin tidak terbatas pada dimensi ruang, tapi pada dimensi sang Pembeli. Si pembeli mau nggak mencari Sang Penjual Lilin.
Dan semakin bijak kita mengelola lilin kita, maka semakin besar nyala lilin tersebut. Sehingga makin berguna juga pagi pembawa llilin yang lain juga. Jadilah terang bagi orang lain, maka dirimu akan juga mendapatkan terang lagi.
Jadi Jagalah Nyala Lilin Hidupmu Baik baik.....!!!!!
